It’s time to glam up, get into the festive spirit and join us for our 50+ Singles Christmas Party! 🎄✨

We’ve got an exclusive room at The Ladybird Inn for the evening, with our own bar, dancefloor and DJ, plus a delicious buffet included in your ticket.

This isn’t speed dating and there are no awkward rotations or bells! It’s simply a relaxed Christmas party for singles where you can chat, mingle, have a dance, enjoy some food and spend the evening with a room full of people who are there for the same reason – to meet new people and have a lovely night out.

Come on your own or come with a single friend. Lots of people arrive by themselves and you’ll be welcomed when you arrive, so there’s no need to worry about walking into a room where you don’t know anyone.

✨ The Venue

Our Christmas Party is being held in the downstairs function room at The Ladybird Inn, which we have exclusively for our party.

The room has its own bar and dancefloor, so once you’re in, you can settle in and enjoy the evening.

There is a car park at The Ladybird Inn. If the venue car park is full, Bromsgrove railway station car park is just around the corner.

✨ How the Evening Works

Doors open at 7:00pm. Come in, grab yourself a drink and start mingling.

There’s no formal dating format and no pressure to speak to a certain number of people. I’ll be there to welcome everyone, and if you’re nervous or arriving alone, just let me know – I’m always happy to introduce you to a few people and help you settle in.

The buffet will be served during the evening and our DJ will keep the music going until 10:30pm, so you can chat, dance or do a bit of both!

Our events are designed to be safe, respectful and enjoyable for everyone.

Please respect other people's personal space and boundaries, and remember to mingle rather than spending the entire evening monopolising one person!

For your own safety, we also recommend that you don't leave the event with somebody you've only just met that evening.

🎟️ Cancellation & Refunds

Tickets are refundable up to three weeks before the event.

After this point, tickets are non-refundable as final numbers and arrangements will have been confirmed with the venue.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.

💛 A Note About Numbers

This is a singles social event, not speed dating, so we don't sell tickets based on an exact male-to-female ratio.

Across the singles industry, more women than men often attend events, although every event is different. We don't want you spending the evening counting men and women – come along to enjoy a fabulous Christmas night out, meet new people and see who you connect with.

You might meet someone romantically, make a new friend, find someone to go to future events with – or simply have a brilliant night out.

Is this event only for singles?

Yes. This is a singles Christmas party designed for people who are currently single and would like to meet other singles in a relaxed, friendly setting.

What age is the Christmas Party for?

The party is aimed at singles aged 50+. We don't check birth certificates at the door though! If you're around this age group and feel the event is right for you, you're very welcome.

I'm coming on my own. Will that feel awkward?

Not at all. Lots of people come to Love In Sync events by themselves – in fact, it's completely normal. You'll be welcomed when you arrive and, if you're feeling nervous, just let Jacquie know. She'll happily introduce you to a few people and help you settle in.

Is it speed dating?

No. There are no timed dates, bells, scorecards or formal rotations. This is a Christmas party and singles social where you're free to mingle, chat, dance and enjoy the evening at your own pace.

Will there be equal numbers of men and women?

We don't guarantee an equal male-to-female ratio. This is a social event rather than speed dating, and singles events generally attract more women than men. Numbers can also change right up until the event. Come along to enjoy the party, meet new people and see who you connect with.

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes entry to our exclusive Christmas party, a buffet, DJ and use of our private downstairs function room with its own bar and dancefloor. Drinks are not included and can be purchased from the bar.

How much are tickets?

Standard tickets are £45 per person. Affinity Members pay the discounted price of £35 per person.

Where is the party?

The party is at The Ladybird Inn, 2 Finstall Road, Aston Fields, Bromsgrove, B60 2DZ. We have exclusive use of the downstairs party room.

Is there parking?

Yes. The Ladybird Inn has its own car park. If the venue car park is full, Bromsgrove railway station car park is just around the corner.

Is the party upstairs or downstairs?

The Christmas Party is downstairs in the function room. The room has its own bar and dancefloor and is exclusively for our party.

What time does the party start and finish?

The party runs from 7:00pm until 10:30pm on Friday 11th December 2026.

Will there be food?

Yes. A buffet is included in your ticket.

Can you cater for dietary requirements and allergies?

Yes. Please tell us about any dietary requirements or food allergies when you book so that we can pass the information to the venue in advance. Vegetarian and vegan options can also be catered for.

What should I wear?

It's Christmas, so it's a lovely excuse to dress up! There's no strict dress code, but think smart, festive and something you feel fabulous in. If you're planning on dancing, you might want shoes you can actually dance in!

What if I don't like dancing?

You absolutely don't have to dance. There will be plenty of opportunity to sit, chat and mingle. The dancefloor is there for anyone who fancies it – there'll be no dragging reluctant people onto it!

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely, as long as they're single too and have their own ticket. Coming with a friend can be a nice confidence boost, but do try to mingle rather than spending the whole evening talking only to each other.

What happens if I book and then can't come?

Tickets are refundable up to three weeks before the event, which means cancellations must be made by Friday 20th November 2026. After this date, tickets are non-refundable because final numbers and arrangements will have been confirmed with the venue.

Do I need to be an Affinity Member?

No. Everyone is welcome to book. Affinity PLUS Members receive the discounted £35 ticket price, while standard tickets are £45.

I've never been to a singles event before. Is this suitable for me?

Definitely. You don't need to be confident, experienced at dating or brilliant at walking up to strangers. The whole idea is to create a friendly environment where meeting new people feels natural. You can simply come along, have a drink, enjoy the buffet and let conversations happen. And remember – everyone in the room is single, so you've already got one thing in common!
